By Train from Manhattan (via A/C Train)

  • Take the A Train towards Brooklyn to the Utica Avenue Station.
  • Exit the train and walk in the direction of the train to the end of the station.
  • Exit the station and walk down Fulton Street, crossing over Malcolm X Boulevard.
  • One block down, make a left on Patchen Avenue.
  • Excellence is five blocks down Patchen, between Macdonough and Macon Streets.

By Train from Manhattan (via J Train)

  • Take the J Train towards Queens to the Halsey Street Station.
  • Walk up the block to Halsey Street (you will see a Dunkin' Donuts on the corner)
  • Walk four blocks down Halsey Street in the direction of Saratoga Avenue.
  • Make a left on Patchen Avenue.
  • Excellence is one block down Patchen, between Macon and Macdonough Streets.

By Car from Brooklyn Bridge

  • Take the BQE to Exit 27, the Atlantic Avenue exit.
  • Follow Atlantic Avenue past Atlantic Center and the Atlantic Rail Yards.
  • Turn left on Utica Avenue under the elevated train tracks past the Atlantic Rail Yards (there is a small sign for the Utica Avenue exit under the elevated tracks).
  • Follow Utica Avenue through Fulton Street (Utica Avenue will become Malcolm X Boulevard).
  • Turn right on Macon Street.
  • The school will be one block down Macon on Patchen Avenue. Parking is available on the street. Note: please look carefully at the street signs for "No Parking" day/time restrictions.
